Genesis Youth Foundation presents the 2024 Ubuntu Leadership Summit, a dynamic event set to ignite change and empower leaders within our community. Taking place on August 23, 2024, at the Genesis Youth Foundation Learning Center in Hope + Elim Church, this summit promises a full day of insightful conversations, immersive workshops, and impactful networking opportunities.

 

Designed to address the pressing issues and challenges facing central Iowa, attendees will engage in thought-provoking discussions and gain practical skills to effect positive change.
Throughout the summit, participants will delve into topics such as youth empowerment,
community development, education equity, social justice, and more. Expert speakers and
facilitators will lead engaging sessions aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation, and
sustainable solutions. From interactive panels to hands-on training workshops, attendees will leave equipped with the knowledge, resources, and inspiration to drive meaningful impact in their communities.

Following the Ubuntu Leadership Summit is the highly anticipated I Am Africa Gala, Genesis
Youth Foundation's premier annual fundraising event. On August 24th, from 6pm to midnight, the Grandview University campus will come alive with an evening of celebration, philanthropy, and cultural immersion. Distinguished guests, supporters, and community leaders will gather for a glamorous affair filled with live entertainment, delectable cuisine, and captivating performances.

 

The I Am Africa Gala serves as a platform to showcase the rich diversity and heritage of Africa while raising vital funds to support Genesis Youth Foundation's mission of empowering youth and fostering positive social change. From silent auctions to inspiring keynote speeches, attendees will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people and contribute to building a brighter future for generations to come.
