All-Girls Mental Health Awareness Retreat
 

The overnight Mental Health Awareness Retreat is for girls age 12-18 who want to be advocates for mental health in their community. The cost per girl is $60 or if you are a GYF member it is free. Space is limited so sign up early!

 

Topics & activities include:

+ Having impactful conversations
+ Self-awareness and self-care
+ Social skills - learn better communication and interactions skills
+ Emotion management - identify emotions and discover ways to keep them under control
+ Being a mental health advocate.

Who: Girls age 12-18
 

When: Friday, August 20th to Sunday, August 22nd

Where: Embassy Suites (Downtown Des Moines, IA)

​

Cost: $60 per person/ free for GYF members
