Academic

 Academic Volunteers will support the lead teacher with maintaining student engagement and on task behavior, and answer student specific questions in a small group setting. Volunteers will assist with homework help and tutoring.

Van Driving

Genesis provides students without reliable transportation the opportunity to attend after-school programs. Van Drivers assist in giving rides to students to and from the Genesis Center during the week.

Sewing

The Sewing Volunteer Project Assistant will support 3-4 students who are working on a sewing project assigned by the program director. Volunteers will assist in teaching basic sewing skills and crafting.

Soccer

Genesis Soccer Coaches will be working with players who are very passionate and love the game of soccer and who need your help the most. Coaches will assist in teaching basic soccer skills and prepare students for games.

Teal and White Modern Afterschool Progra

Interpretation

Genesis is in need of interpreters in working with our youth and families. Volunteers could work in the classroom with youth or in translating for the adult classes in basic computer training, financial education, and English learning.

Genesis is in need presenters to hold training adult work shops on English Learning, basic computer training and the U.S. financial system.
