Volunteer with us!
Genesis Youth Foundation is always looking for volunteers willing to dedicate their time and expertise to our academic, arts, and athletic programming. Our children need qualified tutors and mentors that can help them reach their true potential, grow and become fully integrated into their communities. We are always looking for drivers to assist us in the pick up and drop off of our children from our programs. We have many opportunities to get involved and learn more about Genesis Youth Foundation.

Donate Supplies
Have supplies to donate? Send us an email before stopping by the GYF center to see if we are able to take your donation. Gift cards, school supplies, holiday giveaways, packaged non-perishable nutritional foods, personal hygiene items, musical instruments, soccer gear, art supplies, etc.

Donate Funds
We provide transportation assistance for most youth attending our programs. Your financial donation will help us with our van maintenance and gasoline. We spend roughly $82.00 weekly on gasoline and we pick up youth in Ankeny, Johnston, Altoona, Urbandale and Des Moines, which takes us about two hours before and after the program.
