Ubuntu College & Career Prep Series

Middle and high school students are invited to sign up for the Ubuntu College and Career Prep Series where they will learn different strategies that can be applied to their current and future academic classes. Choose between Wednesday or Friday evenings—whatever works best for your schedule—during the forth week of the month between now and June. Presenter Steven Kellog will discuss the growth mindset and grit, note taking strategies, and time management.

Steven Kellogg is currently the Senior Enrollment Counselor for the Graduate Professional Studies Division at Grand View University. In addition to his full-time job, he is an adjunct instructor at Grand View University and DMACC, teaching courses based on race and identity, leadership, and academic success.

Where: Online via Zoom

 

The Ubuntu College & Career Prep Series happens on during the 4th week of the month between now and June 2021. Both the Wednesday and Friday Ubuntu College & Career Prep series will contain the same information. Choose the day of the week that works best for your schedule. After you have registered, Zoom information will be sent to you via email.
